FAQ

  • What are the prerequisites for the course?

    A prerequisite in Level 2 Covid-19 Infection Prevention is required prior to starting the practical element of the course and Level 2 in Beauty Therapy or equivalent. A good level of written and spoken English is required.

  • How do I access the theory?

    Once you are enrolled you will have access to all learning materials. Dates will be provided for each learning day and the unit which will be covered. Students must access the relevant theory content prior to the attendance day as on the attendance days we focus on the practical sessions. Please read the Induction Chapter and complete all paperwork required. This chapter contains important information relating to assignment submissions.

  • How long do I have access to the course?

    Once you've enrolled, students are required to complete the course within 6-12 months.

  • Is there a written or practical assessment?

    This course involves assignments, multiple choice exams for each of the treatments as well as A&P and practical assessments. The course is graded as pass or fail. All assignments are found at the end of each chapter. To complete the course, all assignments must be completed.

  • Do i have to complete all the assignments before my exams?

    Yes. All written assignments should completed prior to the written exams as these will assist you with preparing for the exam.

  • Do i have to attend any practical sessions?

    Yes, all practical assessments will take place at our centre. Prior to enrolling, please contact us and we can provide you with the dates of our next practical and attendance days.

    Once the course is completed, we will claim your certificate. VTCT can take approximately 4-6 weeks to send through certificates.
